Stephen Hageman Kangas
Because Stephen grew up in the "bush" of Alaska with no TV and the nearest neighbor a mile away, he had plenty of quiet solitude that he made use of learning to play the piano and organ, reading, studying, building things, and hiking. After leaving Alaska for university, he has lived the rest of his life in the "Lower 48" in order to pursue his career in hi-tech engineering, marketing, and general management. In 1996, he moved his family to the Seattle area of Washington, which has the largest concentration of computer software companies in the world and where he has enjoyed his greatest career accomplishments. Here, he has had the opportunity to enjoy snow skiing again, and recently discovered "back country ski touring" (randonnee). He has several hobbies which include biblical & Christian history, amateur radio, "high-end" audio, and music.
